What Is HD Makeup?

HD (High Definition) makeup uses finely-milled, pigment-rich formulas applied with brushes and sponges. It offers buildable, full coverage and tends to give a slightly more skin-like, blendable finish — great for close-up photography and video.

What Is Airbrush Makeup?

Airbrush makeup is applied using a fine mist through an airbrush gun, building up thin, even layers of product. It's extremely lightweight, water-resistant, and long-wearing, making it a favourite for outdoor weddings and long event days.

Which Should You Choose?

• Dry or textured skin: HD tends to sit better and can be layered with skincare-forward prep.
• Oily skin or humid weather: Airbrush's lightweight, water-resistant finish holds up longer.
• Very close-up photography: Both work beautifully — it comes down to personal preference and skin type.
• Long event days: Airbrush is generally the most touch-up-resistant option.
